Delete Your Account

Option 1 — delete it yourself in the app

The fastest way. The control is in the same place on both platforms:

You will be asked to confirm before it goes through — deletion is irreversible, so we would rather ask twice than act on a mis-tap. On Android you are also asked for your fingerprint, face, or device PIN. We email you a confirmation once the request is recorded.

Option 2 — ask us to delete it (no app needed)

If you have already uninstalled the app, cannot sign in, or would simply rather we did it, email us:

Send it from the email address on the account and include your username. That is how we verify the request — we will not delete an account on the word of an address we cannot tie to it, because doing so would let anyone delete anyone.

If you no longer have access to that address, write to us anyway and we will work out another way to confirm you are the owner. We respond within 72 hours.

What happens next

1. Immediately. Your account is closed and you are signed out. Your profile and content stop being visible to other people.
2. For 30 days. The account is held in a deletion window. This is a safety net against a deletion you did not mean — if you change your mind, email support@trendwarz.com within those 30 days and we can stop it.
3. After 30 days. The account and its data are permanently deleted by an automated job. At that point it cannot be recovered, by you or by us.

What gets deleted

• ·Your profile — username, bio, avatar, and account details
• ·Your videos, battles, and open challenges
• ·Your votes, follows, saves, and comments
• ·Direct messages you have sent
• ·Notification settings and push tokens

One thing we cannot remove: a battle you took part in has another creator on the other side of it. Where a battle is kept so that the other person's content and result still make sense, your side is anonymised rather than left under your name.

What we keep for a limited period, and why

These are the same periods set out in section 7 of our Privacy Policy. Nothing in this list is used to keep serving your content — it exists so backups stay usable, so we can investigate reports made about the account, and so we can meet legal obligations.

If the account belongs to someone under 18

A parent or guardian can ask us to delete a teen's account. Email support@trendwarz.com with the username and your relationship to the account holder, and we will handle it — you do not need the teen to make the request themselves.

Other options

You do not have to delete everything to get what you want. You can delete individual videos, change your username, or block anyone you would rather not hear from — all from inside the app. And if you would rather have a copy of your information than lose it, you can ask for one at support@trendwarz.com.
