This Privacy Policy explains how TrendWarz collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the app, create an account, upload content, vote, message other users, or contact support.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, including email address, username, profile details, support messages, and content you upload. We also collect service data such as votes, follows, messages, notification preferences, device and app identifiers, push notification tokens, crash diagnostics, performance logs, and product analytics events.

3. How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, deliver app features, process uploads, show battles and profiles, support messaging and notifications, prevent fraud and abuse, investigate reports, comply with legal obligations, improve reliability, and measure product performance.

4. When information is shared

We do not sell personal information. We share information only when needed to run the service, such as with infrastructure and service providers that support authentication, database storage, video hosting, messaging, analytics, crash reporting, and notifications, including Supabase, Cloudflare, and Firebase or Google services, or when disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.

5. Public content and profile visibility

Profile information, usernames, uploaded battle content, leaderboard placement, and other activity you choose to publish may be visible to other users. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information in public fields or videos.

6. Storage, security, and retention

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no system is perfectly secure. We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, and maintain security. Some backups, logs, and safety records may persist for a limited period after deletion requests.

7. Your choices

You can update profile details in the app, request password resets, disable certain device permissions, and request account deletion. When you delete your account, active account access is removed and associated data is deleted or anonymized according to our operational and legal retention needs.

8. Children and teen protections

TrendWarz is not intended for children below the minimum age permitted under applicable law. If we learn that we collected personal information in violation of that requirement, we may remove the content or account and delete the related information. Additional safety or parental approval controls may apply to younger users where required.

9. International processing and policy changes

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own by TrendWarz or its service providers. We may update this Policy from time to time and will post the current version in the app. Privacy questions and deletion requests can be sent to support@trendwarz.com.

10. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

TrendWarz does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration. We do not sell data to advertisers or data brokers. California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
